Refah et Paz

Ved Jagat truly believes in the golden words, Refah et Paz, which stands for Prosperity and Peace. This phrase is a beautiful fusion of four languages, Turkish, French, Spanish and Urdu and upholds a dream, which is well-being of the mind, body, and soul of all communities that we touch.

The word, “Paz” is derived from the Urdu word, Sukoon.


No business school can teach more than one’s own learnings and challenges. At the peak of his career, when an entrepreneur suffers a setback, he contemplates and reflects upon his journey called life. A solitary mind, which felt desolate in the absence of guidance or support, conjured up a vision to foster and enable like-minded entrepreneurs entrepreneurs with shared values and dreams to develop ventures that work with the broader goals of Welfare, Sustainability, Scalability and Inclusiveness.

This maverick established a company, which was a culmination of his unfettered dreams, hardwork and intense perseverance. Ved Jagat was thus born and had its name inspired and blessed by the founder’s forefathers, with an aim to leave behind a legacy of knowledge and peace for the future generations.

Amit Sardana

Amit is a passionate entrepreneur and a strategic thinker. He is the Founder and Mentor of Ved Jagat Group.

He has 28+ years of experience in Infrastructure & Environment, IT Outsourcing, Health, Urban Management and Financial Services. He has incubated and led several large initiatives across India, SE Asia and EMEA. From leading large teams to embodying directorial roles, he has successfully set up large-scale projects with private sector finance, led a team for an IPO, mentored several tech start-ups and enabled the entire functionality of businesses with regulatory support.

He has set up and managed joint venture(s) with foreign companies and supported their foray in the India market. He has also played the role of a freelance consultant in numerous infrastructure, retail and healthcare ventures in Africa, UK, Central Asia and Europe. Empowering healthcare technologies and positively impacting lives with unrivalled healthcare systems has been one of his overriding goals. In his formative years, he has held key positions in DFID, The World Bank and UNICEF projects.

Amit has a Certificate in Management from IIM Ahmedabad. His core skills include Strategy, Business Acquisition, Capacity Building, Networking, Resource Mobilization and Government relations.

Ashish Taneja

Ashish is the co-founder and Managing Director of growx ventures, a venture firm that invests in entrepreneurs building tech-focused B2B companies In India (with a bias towards deep/ emerging technologies) to solve hard, real-world problems.

Over the years, growx has backed 40+ teams with the intention of leveraging technology to build disruptive businesses. Few of their investments include Locus (Automating supply chain decisions); Fynd (Helping consumer brands leverage technology); Ziploan (building easier access to working capital loans for MSMEs); Quandl (building a data marketplace); Pixxel (building a constellation of nano-satellites); Wellthy (developing digital therapeutics platform), RACE (building EV infrastructure specifically for the 2W and 3W segment) and many other market firsts.

Ashish has led investments in a wide range of sectors including technology, financial services, tech-enabled marketplaces, and renewable energy, and is a Board member of multiple firms. Prior to growx, Ashish was the Country Manager at Vertex in India (private equity backed - Oak Hill Capital, GenNx 360), and was responsible for managing business growth and service delivery. Ashish was the part of the start team at Vertex, responsible for managing project transition and enterprise quality, scaled to 2,500+ strong organization. Previously, Ashish spent a few years in management consulting with Accenture/ Andersen Consulting and led various assignments for leading Indian business groups covering strategy, business process re-engineering, and large-scale ERP implementations. Ashish is a Chartered Accountant and has participated in the Executive Management Program at IIM – Ahmedabad. He is based out of New Delhi.

Anjali Sawhney

Anjali is an experienced leader with a demonstrated history of working in the human resources industry. She is skilled in HR Consulting, Deferred Compensation, Executive Search, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Business Development and Recruiting.

Anjali is an MBA in Human Resource from Amity Business School. She has a post-graduation degree in Mass Communication and Public Relations and a Bachelor’s Degree, majoring in Economics, Ancient History and English Literature from I.T College, Lucknow.

Vidisha Arora

HR/Legal Associate

Vidisha is currently heading the Legal and HR teams at Ved Jagat. She graduated in Law from Rajasthan University, Jaipur in 2019 and has worked with reputed law consultancy firms in Delhi, Hyderabad and Jaipur on High Court cases, tribunals and arbitration. She has certifications in Contract and Tort Law of India and her core skills are legal documentation, vetting, problem solving, teamwork and communication.

Vidisha is based in Gurgaon. She is a national level swimmer and also loves reading novels. Her favourite authors are Dan Brown and Chitra Banerjee Divakaruni.

Sushmita Chatterjee

Sr. Manager, Business Development

Sushmita has extensive expertise academically and professionally, including a doctorate in Economics and a first-hand experience of having founded a startup company specializing in training around business and data analysis. Her recent roles included managing a multi-specialty dental practice in Virginia and applying core business tactics to boost fiscal profits and gross income, reduce business expenditure and improve customer outreach with strategic marketing techniques.

Currently, Sushmita is working as a Senior Manager in the Business Development team at Ved Jagat. Her core skills are creative thinking, cross-functional collaboration, negotiation, conflict resolution and resource management. She is an empath and a people’s person.

Apart from work, she teaches Hindustani Classical (Vocal). Her other interest areas are Theatre, Painting and Wellness.

Shalu Gosain

Secy. & Admin. Asst.

Shalu has 14 years of experience in the corporate sector. She specializes in Office Management and Executive Assistance. She is based in Gurgaon. When she is not working, she loves traveling to the mountains. Her favourite trip so far has been the Manali trek.

Shilpy Jindal

Accounts Executive

Shilpy is a semi-qualified Chartered Accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountant of India and has more than 7 years of experience working with highly reputable firms in Gurgaon and Delhi. She is competent in principles, standards, concepts and techniques of financial auditing and accounting.

Shilpy is a meritorious student of B. Com (H) and a rank holder in High school at the district level. She is based in Gurgaon. Her hobbies range from music and reading to river rafting and culinary experiments.


Sr. Executive

Raj Kumar has over 15 years of experience in Programme management, Administration, and Human Resource. He has thorough knowledge of MIS, corporate policies, and procedures. His keys skills include project management and procurement.
